The women employees in Haryana Government can take a maternity leave up to two years any time and in spells during their entire service to take care of their children at the time of need.
‘The Haryana government has decided to allow child care leave (CCL) to women government employees, whether for rearing or to look after any of their needs like examination, sickness etc,’ a state government spokesman said.
The CCL may be granted for a maximum period of two years (730 days) during the entire service to women government employees for taking care of her two eldest surviving children below the age of 18 years. The CCL leave account will be maintained in a pro-forma and kept in the service book of the concerned employee.
