An NGO "Save my world" is opening the country's first cyber café for the poor at Gurudwara Shri Guru Singh Sabha, Jamalpur.
Anyone who is unable to afford expenses for visiting a cyber cafe, can avail the internet facility for free for for 55 minutes per day. One need not be a member of NGO for this. Mehtab Singh, the founder of the NGO, plans to provide this novel facility at nine more places in the city by the end of this year.
Mehtab Singh has already received the state award from the Punjab Government as two of his photographs were decorated at UNO Headquarters in New York last year. He is the first Indian whose photographs have been decorated at the UNO headquarters. The theme of the photo competition was "future of world considering climactic changes"
